Bill Varney, owner and founder of the lovely and world renown Fredericksburg Herb Farm will present a program on “Herb of the Year 2006: Pelargoniums, the Scented Geraniums” and inform us about the exciting Herb Fest 2006 which begins at the herb farm Friday evening April 21st and ends on Sunday April 23rd.

Sylvia and Bill Varney do amazing things with herbs. Since 1985, they have been growing herbs and flowers on their property in the Texas Hill Country and using them in a huge variety of food products like jellies, jams, mustards and vinegars. The result: terrific, unexpected flavors that gardeners can appreciate as much as gourmands. |
