San Antonio Hot Sauce (contributor unknown)

1 large (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
4-5 serrano peppers (seeded or not, your choice)
1 green pepper, chopped
2-3 stalks celery, chopped
1 bunch green onions, tops only, chopped fine
1 avocado, chopped
Juice of 1 lemon
salt & pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste

Drain tomato juice only into blender. Add serrano peppers. Blend until pepper is chopped fine. Add tomatoes and whirl a few seconds - only long enough to break up tomatoes. Do not blend until smooth. Pour mixture in bowl and add chopped celery, green onion tops, avocado, green pepper, and lemon juice. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.
