GREEN BEANS (Lynnea Wright)
Fresh green
beans Water Vinegar
Wash and prepare any amount
fresh green beans. Place ¾ - 1" water in pot. Add 4-6 large
drops vinegar. Bring to simmer. Add beans. Cover and cook very
slowly (only an occasional bubble in water) 2-5 hours until
desired flavor/texture is achieved. Serve hot or cold topped
with sour cream or plain yogurt and dill weed.
