NASTURTIUM SAUCE (Judi Daughety)
1 cup
nasturtiums, washed and patted dry ¼ cup parsley
leaves ¼ cup shallots, chopped, or substitute ¼ cup chopped
green onions and ½ clove garlic 1 ½ tsp. chopped fresh
dill 2 tsp. chopped fresh basil ½ cup mayonnaise 1
tsp. Dijon mustard 1/8 tsp. curry powder 1/8 tsp.
cayenne powder Salt & pepper to taste
Place all
ingredients in food processor. Process until smooth. Taste for
seasonings and adjust as needed. Mixture should be very
flavorful and almost over seasoned. Makes about 1 cup. Good
served over hot or cold asparagus. (Adapted from Southern Herb
